Two years ago, I took a leap of faith and picked up a whisk.
My life has not been the same ever since then.
Fueled by my passion for cooking, my mother’s blessings, and my husband’s encouragement, I stand before you as a cooking expert. Not that I wasn’t a big foodie before, but cooking makes the whole experience a lot more special.
Each day I fall more and more in love with healthy cooking and feel amazed at how a careful choice of ingredients and some sneaky techniques can make the tedious task so satisfying. The blog is a collection of my journey from a foodie to a healthy home cook.

My love affair with food started long before I stepped into the kitchen.
As a Lebanese, I have spent a childhood devouring big hearty meals and watching my mom conjure exquisite dishes with staple ingredients. Then when the travel bug bit me, I began exploring the wonders of the world with a fork in my hand.
If I was at home, then I took the time to watch culinary shows and try out tasty treats at the trendiest eating joints.
Unwittingly, these happy memories became the blueprint for my cooking ventures. I guess all the eating out, travel plans, and copious amount of cooking shows I watched did come to good use in the end.
