Mouthwatering Matcha Truffle

Elegant, decadent, and scrumptious―these match truffles are out of this world.
You’d think that mixing matcha 🍵 with chocolate 🍫 wouldn’t be a good idea.
That was my first reaction to this recipe, but then I took a leap of faith 👩🏻‍🍳and tried it anyway.
Guess what? I love it💚!

Not only are these melt-in-your-mouth truffles delicious, but they are high in antioxidants too.
That means you get to keep your health in check 💓when you munch on these beauties.

  1. Chuck all the ingredients in the food processor. Blend for 45-60 seconds at a time, until everything is properly blended. (Remember to scrape down the sides between pulses)
  2. Scoop the mixture out into a bowl and pop it into the fridge to set. (10 min)
  3. Use a double-broiler method to melt your dark chocolate.
  4. Once set, roll the matcha mixture into small balls. (1 heaped tsp each)
  5. Assemble the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate and roll them over with a fork.
  7. Make sure that the balls are completely coated before taking them out.
  8. Pop it back in the fridge to set for an hour or two.


That’s it💁🏻‍♀️! Your terrific truffles are ready to be devoured. These refreshing treats are the perfect snack to beat the afternoon slump. Plus, if you can skip the chocolate coating then they can work as your post-gym 💪🏼power balls too.
